Vision for the Penn Square Chapter

The Penn Square Chapter is a group of diverse women committed to becoming the premier business women’s association in Lancaster City by empowering members to grow personally and professionally. Founded in July 1986, our chapter was established to help women in downtown Lancaster connect, network and share ideas.

Penn Square members have the opportunity to connect, learn and grow… all during a lunch meeting!

One of the things that members like most about the Penn Square Chapter of ABWA is that it provides a nurturing environment for them to test and acquire new business and leadership skills. We promote the professional, educational, cultural and social advancement of business women in our community. Our Chapter is particularly appealing to those who work in the Lancaster downtown vicinity. Get energized over the lunch hour!

Members meet on the first Thursday of each month to share their professional endeavors, ideas, experiences, resources, products and services with like-minded professional women. Members are encouraged to participate in the local experience where they will have an opportunity for hands-on learning.  Our educational, engaging and energetic speakers provide information on relevant topics that offer the opportunity for thought-provoking group discussions. Attending meetings is a great way for members to make new friends, enhance their careers, and have some fun!
