MONTHLY MEETING - Stripping Off The Labels

Join Reesy Neff as she shares her journey and the lessons she learned along the way by stripping off labels. Everyone has a story. This is mine. One could assume it’s just a tale about a gal from a small town doing her best to escape and find happiness and true love. But this gal endured more than her fair share of family tragedy, longed for acceptance, and wished more than anything to strip away the labels stamped across her like a scarlet letter.

It’s also about you. That’s right, you. We all wear labels from somewhere or someone. Do you like yours? Or should you be stripping them off as well? We don’t have to let the world define us or tell us who or what we can be. Yes, it’s my story. It could be yours as well. One thing is for sure…it ain’t no fairy tale!

Come on out, invite a friend or two and network with other businesswomen who want to grow and be active in our community.

MONTHLY MEETING - Thoughtful Evolution

Change, adversity, and life transitions are some of the most complex circumstances that we encounter. Rather than passively allowing these influences to shape us, we can thoughtfully engage with each, exploring our natural responses and reframing our perceptions to become a better version of ourselves.

We're excited to have Diesha Cooper, a revitalization specialist and mentor to women business owners on mindset and business practice, help us become more intentional.

Community Event to support THE GATEHOUSE

An opportunity to support THE GATEHOUSE -
Women's Extended Residential Care Home!

We are providing a little holiday joy and company to these lovely women. Please sign-up in the link below and commit to volunteering just 2 hours of your time to show them that the women of ABWA Penn Square care!

During our time together, we'll help the ladies decorate their tree, create holiday cards, and provide lunch for all to enjoy. In addition, we'll also provide each woman with a special gift bag to help lift her spirits. Recovery is difficult, especially during the holiday season. Many of these women do not have the support of their families and really appreciate our visit each year.

On the sign-up sheet, there is a space to donate money toward the gift bags. In the past, we've been able to find nice hat, scarf, and glove sets on Amazon for approximately $30 each. A donation of $40 will cover the cost of the gift bag as well as a few other goodies we could add to the bags.

We ask that volunteers bring their food items along to the event.

You can learn more about the organization at www.gatehouse.org

Please reach out to Laurie if you have any questions regarding the event or donations (laurie@herwealthcoach.com)!
